Initially the Tay
Foundation concentrated on buying out the nets
on the Tay Estuary but, following its recent reconstitution
is now focusing on a variety or environmental
and research projects to improve the habitat and
management of all fish species within the district.

The projects listed
below are priorities for 2007 / 08 and their approximate
costs are shown. Funding is being sought from
a variety of sources, including grant aid, but
is still dependent on donations from all those
with an interest in the Tay. Any level of donation
towards the cost of any project is welcome as
are gifts for whole projects.
