Along with a number of other organisations and individuals,
the Tay Foundation contributed significantly to the
costs of construction in 2003 of a new salmon hatchery
which is now operated by the Tay District Salmon Fisheries
Board. The new state-of-the-art facility initially had
a capacity to incubate 2,000,000 eggs though this has
since been extended. |
